Dwhy Is It When Resolved "No More Snakes"...

something always comes up? Just today a high orange adult female Macklots became available plus enclosure. I don't get it.

Yeah I was told this high orange was like a camo pattern; very unlike anything I've ever seen before. I must admit, I am curious and want to go check her out. What do you guys think about this?

One should only add snakes that they have done proper reasearch about, can provide proper husbandry for and have some basic snake knowledge. If that's all met, add away.
Too many people just add stuff to their collection with two or more of the above points never being met.

I understand Mykee. I currently have 2 pairs of Macklots and have had the '09s for 2 years. They are doing just fine. I know I was asking for thoughts about this and I do appreciate your thoughts but I was not asking for permission. That decision is mine alone to make. I'm not even sure I'm going to do this yet anyway. I'm only considering it at this point. In a few minutes I will be home to post that pic I promised and see what you guys think.

Good looking snake either way.Its my guess thats shes restraining her long enough to get the pic because Macklots are just as active and curious as Carpets.

Im sorry but due to circumstances I cannot control, I cannot acquire this snake. I wish I could and yes, I am disappointred. I feel like Im passing up a once in a lifetime opportunity with this yellow Mack. I just didnt want to leave you guys in limbo which is why Im telling you now.

I honestly think I will get 1 more corn then be 100% done. I have 5 snakes now and they are great but my other pets and my family need more from me. So even though snakes are cheap to keep I can't see spending money on something I just "want" I am not breeding so there is no real point. Not getting any more snakes shouldn't be a bad thing. It should show that you are smart enough to know when enough is enough for you and your family.
