i put this in wrong spot at first not sure how to delete it from there though.
this is ted not sure exactly how old but we have owned him a couple months hes about 4 ft. He's a really really good eater though doesnt want rats he only wants mice he eats live right now but we are switching to frozen and pretty soon his only option is going to be rats. (3 mice a week has become very pricey). As far as i know he is a normal so nothing exciting i'm sure for you guys but i said i would post pics.

i know he's so handsome. It been struggle with him though when we brought him homehe hadmites (we where such noobs we had no clue what to do) finally we got that straightened out than he wouldnt eat for like 3 weeks. Than he ate while in shed we didnt know he was in shed lol. shed took a full week and comeoff in tiny bits and right up to 2 days ago still had chunks of shed of his back that we tried everything to get off without actually taking off ourselves. than 2 days ago he finished his second shed which only took him 2 days and all shed is off now and hes nice and clean and shiny lol.
im telling you though there was times i was like who would ever want to oen one of these if this is what you go thorugh lol.
but now i am looking for my second lol i want something different than a normal like apied or bee or albino or something different. ted isactuallymy bf's snake so i want my own now. though i want one alot younger i feel like i missed so much of teds life and milestones lol.

If that large fish cage is his enclosure you're probably drying it out with the heat lamps over it and that's why he's got bad sheds going on.
I keep mine in tubs and they work wonders for humidity. I recommend a humid hide if you continue to use fish cages.

this last shed he had was alotalot better it was his first shed that was bad he was just a couple days clear of mites and we didnt know what kind of humidity he needed.now when its shed time we spray his tank good at 3 to 4 times a day tokeep humidity up when not in shed we still spray his tank twice a day. his bowl is big enough he likes to curl up in the water and its always full. We thought that too when i started doing research and asking around so we are waiting for his next shed to see if that even better than this one and if so we are gonna keep doing what we are doing if not than we are going to try something else. We just cannot afford right yet to do any mods to his tank or get something diff entirely. WE are thinking about getting a peice of plexiglass and putting as cover with holes drilled in it but again we cant do that just yet.
but yes i figured humidity had a role to play but our only option is to play with what we got for now. He also gets to comeout for his favorite time when in a shed bath time he loves bath time he sees his bath tub and gets all squirmy and happy lol
