Really interested in these guys! Males get larger, right? Are females more brightly colored?

Ok, since I was able to answer those questions on my own, let's turn it into a photo thread! Does anyone have pics of their red iguanas?

We use to have a member from England that had one i believe, but they haven't posted in a couple years. Don't ever remember for sure who it was.

What's the best way to "package" an iguana? I've only seen snakes shipped. Don't suppose you'd put an iguana in a pillow case? <--- jk

When we took our lizards to schools we used pillowcases (tho they werent as big as an iggy) :)

Well this guy is only a juvenile, maybe 3ft long. I'm not sure if a pillow case would work well for an overnight shipping. Not sure what the alternative is though, really.

When I was younger my brother ordered a lizard off line. He received in in a locking plastic box with vent holes. It had heat packs on the bottom and a few towels inside. I am unsure of who dealt with the shipping but it was almost like a dog crate made for a lizard. The key was sent a few days before arrival of the lizard to make sure we could easily get the lizard out. Once we got the key he emailed a conformation code to the supplier and they shipped out his new pet...fairly complex but it worked great for us that time.

Must admit i was not reading properly, i wouldnt use a pillowcase for shipping, for us taking the lizard to and from the school it worked fine but they were under constant supervision - Kat's version sounds much better for shipping :)
