Jumping Spider

For the sake of pleasing my spider friends on here... here is a bold jumping spider that appeared in my apartment today. It totally freaked me out and I told my maintenance guy it was a "baby tarantula." He laughed at me. :o

weird little thing! it's hard to see his face, but i see those green fangs!! I'm surprised you were able to get a pic...even i don't like the jumping ones much, cuz they JUMP lol

So cute! I kept one once for a few months and watched it grow before finally releasing it one day. Behaviorally, they are very interesting little critters.

i also like how they will fallow your finger around till you go towards them and then they go in reverse lol

Kind of look like these spider i use to have to spay for ever spring in my old house. They would actually chase after you. Freaky little buggers.
