Hey guys. As some of you know I am deworming my Green Tree Python right now because it has Hookworms. I am using Panacur. I just have a quick question for you guys who have dealt with deworming snakes. Can I feed my GTP while deworming it? I know that when snakes have IRs and are on medication people don't recommend to feed them. So I just wanted to know if it was safe to feed my GTP while he is on Panacur. Thanks for your help. :)

Yes you can.
In fact I usually just inject my meds into a thawed mouse and then feed it to the animal.
It's an easy way to sneak medicine into a snake/lizard.

Thank you Alessia. It sucks. Poor guy is just a baby. :( He is pooping his brains out. But he is hanging in there. Thanks Wayne!
You certainly can feed him between doses. Were it me I'd dose/tube him directly, rather than inject the Panacur into the food item, for this particular worm. Hookworms are nasty; they suck blood and lay gazillions of eggs.
Good luck with getting rid of them!

The GTP has passed away...
