I will post some photos back to this thread tonight, but i'm halfway through cleaning out the upstairs room and setting up shelves for all the gang. I have two 40gal tanks on the floor, lifted a little with wood for ventilation on the UTHs...and have set up two shelves for 8 tanks of snakes, and about 6 containers of tarantulas. I have one shelf down stairs, with the frog, the skink, and one ball python, and one stand with a BP on it in the living room.
Jasper's 60 gal tank will go upstairs, as soon as i clear out more junk to make room. It's weird to almost have my living room back!!!
I have to say, i absolutely love the feeling of walking into that upstairs room and seeing so many critters, though!!! It's going to be nice and warm up there for them, too. should have done this ages ago.

Now i just need to figure out how to get rid of all the JUNK in that room that i don't want anymore. I wish i had a huge dumpster! i'm OVER the yard sale-ing and would rather just get it out of my house and out of the way.

Anyone want years accumulations of Christmas wrapping paper, bags/bows for all occasions, and old 90s electronics? Not to mention a huge bin of Mt St Helen's ash! I used to sell that online and make jewelry with it. I'm so over that, too *lol*

Alright! I got this done a few days after this post, but here's the pics! I know you guys must be excited to see *rolls eyes* LOL!

I also have a sterilte shelf (which you can see in the back behind the big snake tanks) that now houses the pyxie frog in one drawer, and the croc skink in another. Its quite a nice, safe, stable set-up for them since neither one can climb the sides or get through any cracks. I rather like it, and they seem to love it and it's more floor space for them.

Tank upgrades in the future.
There are two ball pythons down stairs still. On display. I may move them up anyway though since this room has turned into a nice pleasant ambient temp area for them all.
Yay! I have a snake room! (and spider)

LoL! oh my let's see...

From upper left: tailless whipscorpion, then cob the corn snake, then empty tank, purple lid is one of the tarantulas, the wooden lined tank is the red knee tarantula, then there's perry the hognose.

Second shelf from the left: Silver the carpet python, orange and black lids are a tarantula each, starburst and you can see the bolivian black...then rose hair tarantula, then rusty the dumeril's boa.

Third shelf from the left: Platy the bolivian boa, with the green bottle blue on top near the heat lamp, then chaco golden knee tarantula, then copper the hognose.

Last/bottom shelf, from the left: Tanzy (Tanzanite) the dumerils, then both sand boas...each in a sauna in this pic *lol*

Things have changed a bit...we added another red knee baby, and i switched some tarantulas to shorter, but wider enclosures.

BTW if you have advice on if someone should be moved to a different shelf...like ambient temperature would change...i would love it (anyone!)

Last pic we have Jasper our 11 year old (we've only had him a year) in the big tank, and in the back on the left is Bitey, and on the right is Ribs!

I have to say, it's nice to have my living room back. But what's even more awesome is walking into that upstairs room and seeing my hoard of critters...I absolutely love it!!!
I think they like it too, since it stays warmer up there. I still need a lot of upgrades, but everyone has been healthy so far. Yay!
