I got a Carpet Python!!! She was sold to me as a Hypo Jungle Jag I trust the seller as I have known him for a while. She is a beaut! I got her hanging out in my quarantine area at the moment but I snapped a couple pics for you guys before putting her in her tub. Can one of you guys possibly confirm her as a hypo jungle jag? I know very little about carpet genetics and am looking forward to learning :D
P.s. its hard to tell in these pics but she almost has a sort of greenish tinge to her really cool in person!

Hypomelanistic means reduced black pigment. I'm afraid I don't see that in this animal :(

Thats a good looking jag. I don't see the hypo either. The only way to really know for sure is to know what both parents were. You said you've seen the mother, what was she?

If it is a hypo het... you could start some pretty interesting projects (should you choose to do so). There are some kicking hypo Jags floating around here being produced from hypo pairings.

I love her colours! I am really going to look forward to expanding my experience with carpets, I paid 250 for her and I feel she is worth every penny

You got your money worth an then some. It might not be a hypo, but it's diffidently a trophy animal.

lol my poor animals....i have never waited four weeks *lol* thank goodness most of mine adjusted quickly : ) I do tend to leave the fussies alone though. They have a good life, regardless of being poked every now and then!
Nice very pretty snake, btw.
