Tomorrow marks the 3 year Anniversary of the death of one of the best people I've ever had the honor of serving with. Next beers for you CPL. Lane. Your sacrifice won't be forgotten....

Sorry I know this isn't reptile related, just needed to vent...

No idea who that is, but sorry about the loss. I'm currently sipping a brew, and I'll raise my glass to it

I figured that much out. I'm not as dumb as I look :) Cheers. Was he killed in the line of duty? Sorry to ask such a blunt question.

No he was in his mid 20's. Maybe a kid to some, but he went out as a man....

I had my family over tonight and I started a toast to all that fighted in the army
(all army's) and for the time they served and for the sacrifices they took because of this thread. I am very sorry for the loss of your friend.

Edit: Even though I am 14, so it was just Pepsi, but still thought is there.

No need to thank me, I think every other vet will agree, the reason we do what we do is so no one else HAS to.

No problem. I feel like I owe it to them, you know. They have done so much for us. Sorry for the ignorance but Chris I am guessing that you were in the army too?

Agreed. We know the risks but wouldn't have it any other way. Someone has got to be down range

A man in many ways, but a kid in the sense that mid 20s is way too young to go. Sad times.
