Hey, new to the forum, been living with snakes for nearly 15 years now.

Getting into a new species for our family, carpet pythons, little different than what I started with so, lots to learn.

Boyfriend had snakes when younger, shortly after we got together he started back up with an albino Burm, that was my first real experience with snakes. daughter came along a year or so later, so she has always lived with snakes. That burm passed away 4 years ago, to see the heartache that brought her hurts a mom. She has a condolence card her school friends made for her.

About a year after that, we rescued a ball python from the pound, her dad was volunteering there, animal control brought it in on those noose on a stick thing they use for pitbulls:eek:, pretty sad for a maybe 18 inch long snake at the time. Pound was clueless, we grabbed it before they killed it because they didn't know what to do.

Next addition was a ghost corn my daughter picked out for a christmas gift, and our coastal carpet and another baby ball show in the morning FedEx. Can't wait to see them, will post pictures soon.
