I don't know much about looking at snakes and figuring out what they are but I think it is just a big king snake.

i wish i could get a better picture that shows how "squared"(lack of better word) ,buffed build he has and his pattern is alot like a gopher or bull snake dont you think?

Is it possible it's a hybrid? Head definitely looks king but the body looks like a bull/gopher.

Can you give me a little more info? Is he/she wild caught? If so, do you know where? If captive bred and born unless the parents are available to post pictures of it may be hard to truly identify.
For a preliminary identification, it looks to be a an intergrade between L.g.californiae (California Kingsnake) and L.g.splendida(Desert Kingsnake). They are usually found in the south central part of AZ, or there about. It's is a great looking kingsnake though

all i know is the owner was trying to give it away because he was worried about having vet bills (the snake *hercules* has an odd kind of shiver/shudder on his rear half of his body) he said he bought him from somebody online about 8 or 9 years prior to giving him to me (ive had him 2 years now) vet pointed out to me a whole lot of old scars up and down his whole body she said it looked to her like like he had been badly chewed up by a cat or dog when he was small......probabally explaining the shudders ...(nerve damage) hes healthy and doing fine so ..........i have pretty much no info on the snake thats why i was asking online

I agree with Jimmy....
It is possibly a Calking X Desert King intergrade typically found in Arizona......
Not a hybrid that I can tell....especially not with a pituophis......

It could be a reverse dotted Cal king like this:

Or a Desert king X Cal king intergrade from AZ like this.

I agree that it is a kingsnake. Definitely some heavy desert influence.
