this is scrub python from tanimbar...
it's melanistic or just scrub python tanimbar normally?

Not sure what it is but it looks to be in very rough shape....
Just had a thought.. could it be a white lipped python?

Op - sorry that I can't help you with the identification, but whoever is taking care of it should at least raise the humidity, looks like it had an awful shed.

Definitely looks like morelia nauta (tanimbar), wouldn't a melanistic scrub be pretty much all black?

Then again I'm on my phone, there's some stunning irridescence on it so I can't really judge.
