Is it possible to "enhance" a snake's color with some kind of dye?
Someone I know is suspicious that they got a dyed baby because when it shed, it left purple streaks on the paper towel, and it's new color was the same as his 2 baby siblings...

I don't know if you can use it on snakes but I use repashy dusted on Cassie's food and it's a pigment enhancer

Wow... that's shady. Does it hurt the snake? Zeus is actually the sibling of the dyed snake. Out of the 3, only one was "dyed", so it's kinda weird that all of them weren't. I'm definitely glad that I picked the darkest one though...
I never heard of this going on with snakes/reptiles. That is so horrible!! Unfortunately, can't say that stuff like this surprises me anymore... bleached an dyed birds, fish shooted with dyes, anything to make a buck. It's really sad...
