hello and welcome

imo,the vet fee's you quoted are very expensive

testing for a specific infection should not cost much, tests such as trachael wash,or swabs cultred from the trachea or oropharynx

you need to find a decent reptile vet mate

if you have caught a respiritory problem in the very early stages, simply upping your hot end temperatures by 4 or 5 degrees F,for 4 or 5 weeks, can sort it out

i have a few carpets that wheeze, leading up to and during the shedding proccess, the wheezing stops right after they shed

cheers shaun

Not sure about that species of boa but usually ( what I see with a lot of other boa's) is raise the humidity, try posting in the boa section its a lot more likely you'll get better answers there. Welcome to the forum, lots of people willing to help here!

I agree, bump the humidity. You may want to think about doing a humidity chamber treatment.
