Humidity Box and Firs Shed

We have a 6 month old corn who is going through his first
shed since we got him. He is actually in pre-shed, opaque
skin and eyes. He spends all day in the humidity box I made
that has moist paper towels with hole in side and top for exits.
Is it ok that he spends that much time in there or should I take it out for part of the day?
