So I am getting a 6'x3x3 enclosure and have 2 JCPS so I am thinking of splittin it into 2 vivs. 3x3x3. My male will love it and I know its plenty big for him but not sure about my big female. I assume she will grow a little more. So is 3x3x3 gonna be enough for a 8' JCP??
Your thoughts please.

I think as long as she comes out a for a decent amount of time each week and has things to perch/climb on, she'll enjoy it. 3 feet high actually offers a lot more usable space for a carpet python I'd think.

That is my thinking too. 4'x2'x2' is 16 cubic feet and 3'x3'x3' is 27 or almost double right.

My jungle Seems to appreciate up room a lot more than ground space, I think a 3x3x3 would be lovely as long as there is ample climbing goodies, and she gets to come out and play every few days

imo,3ft of length is not a lot of ground space for an 8ft carpet, that you thinks still growing mate

i preffer to give all my carpets a minimum of 4ft length wise in their tanks

my diamonds will get 6ft x2ftx2ft tanks once adult

i expect them to be around the 8 to 10 feet mark

the above is just me personal way of keeping carpets

didn't make my afternoon, but it did at least make me chuckle in class a little bit.
I personally think a 3x3x3 would be sufficient for them, if they out grow that you can always remove the divider and get another 6x3x3 right?

Well the cage was not as big as advertised so I have decided to just build one 8'x4'x2' with a removable devider for breeding season.

Well I just ordered my melamine. Got 3 full sheets of "truffle" which is just a fancy dark brown. Got it from a friend for 1/2 price. The plan is to make 2 4x4x2 square enclosures with a 3x3 opening in the front for the window. Another friend of mine owns a window company so they are going to make me custom windows to my specs. I plan to insulate the boxes and to use home thermostats in child proof boxes right inside the enclosure. They should be fine and I won't need to mist my carpet cage often so water won't be a problem. So sealed, insulated and with 2 payne high r value doors. I plan to use ceramic bulbs as heat with the thermostat inside the enclosure but run the wires inside the walls. The home thermostat is so much cheaper and so what if it isn't a pulse type. The wild isn't even near as regulated as thi will be. Anyway. These should be cheap to heat. Oh yeah I also plan a little celing fan for circulation.

So stay tuned. I should get my wood tomorrow but have no time to start this project until Monday. My windows should be here by Wednsday. I will do a DIY and show everything step by step.
I haven't built anything in years so wish me luck!!!
