I have a few quick questions. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a homemade humidhide out of a box or something and make it look at least a little natural?? Also, I know humid hides need to be on the warm side, but do you still also need a dry hide on the warm side or would I just need a dry hide on the cool side and the humid hide on the warm side??

no, I custom make them to look natural because I haven't been able to make a plastic container look "natural". You can paint them, but their shape gives the ruse away!!

I make a clay mold, pour plaster into it, shape, sand and paint them. it's alot of man hours to do it, but you can make it any shape/size you want.

I tend to have cold and warm "dry hides" and then a humid hide somewhere near the middle of the viv. I have used bought hides for this tho :)
