Lol I guess we're grammer checking on the internet now instead or answering the questions. Worst part is, if you knew what I intended to say, then why not answer the question?? And what is "is is"? Sorry but chu failed at that.
Got sum temps fo me now bruh??

I am not touching any of this.
Sorry I had to. I feel there is a degree of slack when it come to improper grammar on the internet, I myself do the same. Unfortunately that use of grammar makes my head hurt.
what are the temps you are currently holding in your enclosure? The infrared lights can still be seen by some and could disturb their sleeping patterns. Try switching to a ceramic heat emitter, they don't produca any type of light. You will have to play with the wattage though. A lighter watt for the summer and possibly a larger watt for the winter. Just have to try it out and see what works in your house.

The temps lower from 93 to 86 on the high side and 88 to 84 on the low side with the infrared bulb on now that its warmer out. Are those temperatures accurate and safe?? With the bulb off, the temps on both sides lower to the high 70s but the uth is at a constant temp of 87

Its cool, good luck on your new Boa enclosures tho!
The hot side should be 86-90 and the cool side should be 76-80F. What are you using to measure the heat? The only real reliable devices to measure temp and humidity are digital thermometers or infrared temp gun.
A good website to read over is Ball Python Set Up Enclosure (http://www.pythonregiuscare.com/Setting_Up.html)

Osmdeathowner, you made me lol. I think your grammar is original. ;oP
I have to weigh in on both the original topic and the side issue of grammar on the internet.
First, why change the temp for night-time if you're not breeding? If you are breeding then a lot of folks seem to cool at night, but at least one big breeder whose site I've read doesn't bother anymore and he says his production is good. Mine are within a degree or two of 80 and 90 cool and hot side 24/7.
As far as internet grammar goes, I think there is a minimum to what is acceptable when asking a question on a forum. If you expect someone to answer the question at least write the question so they don't have to work to decipher what the question is. It's obvious the OP is capable of writing quite coherently so why not do it? Texting between friends or posting on facebook walls is one thing but IMHO a forum is a little different.

This is a great caresheet for ball pythons (it covers temps): StrictlyBalls.ca (http://www.strictlyballs.ca/housingfaq.htm)

That's me: nicer and more polite. My wife would probably beg to differ with that. ;)

Like Norm66 said don't change the temps at night, unless you are breeding. I personally hate heat lamps. I use Pro Products heat panels. I just find heat lamps to be to unpredictable. But that's just my opinion.
Saym temmps az daitym; 90-95 onliss yur breedin.

Lol, I think any wife could bed to differ about what people thinks of their husbands. :o) It's just what us wives do!!
About the little grammar "issue"...I say let him type anyway he wants to. After all, all these things he does make him...well him. If he were to change they way he likes to do things because someone else didn't agree then he would no longer be himself. You gentlemen may be great people, but if ever one was the same as you we would get pretty bored. Variety is the spice of life!! I say grammar shmammar! ;oP
Well, there's grammar and there's.....that. It's phonetic is all I can think of to call it. I stand by my response.
Mykee- nice. :)

Well I understand Norm. I mean look at me. You all know I am nigh to perfect. Yet my wife seems to have a different opinion for some reason

I aim for my cold end temp to be mid 70's 24/7, never change the temps overnight as i am not breeding my snakes.
