my female anery corn was bred the week after my snow (who just clutched on the 2nd), she (the anery) shed back on march 11. am I waiting for another shed, or is she just taking her time laying those eggs?? (she's pudgy now where she never was before, so I am sure she's got eggs in there)
They usually lay a week or so after their pre lay shed, so my guess is that was just a regular shed. I'm not real experienced, so don't take that as fact.

ya, all the books say 7-14 days after thier shed they will lay, but we're well past that now.
I only wonder because my snow didn't shed at all before she lay. I had been checking my snow and Okeetee for pre-lay sheds, and my anery (who shed mar 11) for eggs. low and behold, 2 mornings ago my snow gave eggs without a shed???? and my Anery who shed has not given eggs at all!! She's still taking meals though, and my snow refused a meal for the first time ever a few days before she lay.
