Thanks. Yes that first adder is post-sloughed where as the others are all in need of shedding their skin following the winter's brumation. The males do look fantastic at this time of year. Not great camouflage though.

cool pics man, your soo lucky to be able to go out a see such sites! some jackass scared all the snakes away from my country a long time ago lol...

Yes, I do consider myself lucky to have these stunning snakes within a 20 minute drive from where I live. I just hope they'll still be there for future generations to enjoy.
