This took a bit of effort..

Savannah Monitors (http://www.savannahmonitor.co/test/) click to test new style

The old style is here..

Savannah Monitors (http://www.savannahmonitor.co/) click to see old style

I needed more options without cluttering the page with links.

so what do you think?

BTW - Later on I am going to build a baby gallery instead of directing people to the facebook page.

I like it :)

Good, getting all that code to work right was like a 3 day nightmare of trial and error...

Now I have the code written, I can add drop down submenus within seconds.

It just feels more pro.

Click on the purple words in the body text.;)

Just a heads up, when I click "home" it jumps to the page with the old style, not sure if this is on purpose...

This is just awesome, a huge service to keepers and Savs everywhere and I've been recommending sav owners visit. The website looks really slick and the menu is great :D

Just FYI, under Poor Foods in red, chemicals is misspelled.

Then It shall be it, I will pull the old page so the new one goes up as default.

Because the "test" page is in a different folder.

in about 10 minutes it won't be.

It's looking pretty slick.

The more input you get from testers the better because some folks have a hard time seeing certain colours so it's always best to stick with 'web safe' colours which have proven themselves to be visible to almost everyone, but I like the overall look and feel :)

I am finding that some of the newer codes don't work with older browsers.

Just for a test spin, I looked at it with IE7 and the drop down codes are not supported, it's a new css5 code and only IE8 or above will display it correctly.

Firefox and Chrome display it fine.

I just noticed one of the links is broken. The sad history of not eating rodents.

Nice thing about that menu code, I have been pasting it onto the other pages.

I made my own baby gallery last night and fixed the buttons so it loads my light box gallery instead of facebook.

I also wrote everything so it will auto fit your monitor, If people view it on an old fashion monitor (square screen) it looks fine, if you view on a wide screen, it will auto adjust to the wide screen.

I did have to mve the gallery botton over to the left, because the drop down fould make the whole page move, due to the auto adjust feature, the text boxes made the page wider when they popped out, so I was seeing the whole page shift to the left.

Now that's fixed too.

Kinda like a new car, I just want to keep polishing it.

If by chance you hit the site just as I was uploading the new files, you would have seen a blank white page.

About all that is left is a cage showcase and a "what not to do" page.

I've never been a fan of gradient backgrounds and fancy distractions on buttons, menus, etc. Personally, I think the older style looks cleaner. Maybe I'm just a weirdo though.
