So I woke up this morning to my very first clutch of Cornsnake eggs. She totally surprised me as we have had NO pre-lay shed!!Anyways, unless there are some hidden hets, we are expecting all amels out of this clutch. There are 16 eggs, 2 look like they are maybe slugs (smaller and not the same color)

I am so excited!!

Thanks guys!! I am sooooooo excited!!! the average incubation for corns is 55-65 days, but I have heard of variances both ways.

I know, isn't it??

Stephan -those 2 are slugs btw. .

ya I kind of figured those 2 were slugs, but one actually puffed up and lost the slimy feeling, so maybe only 1 slug........

Congrats on the 1st clutch. This will be one you will not soon forget, no matter how many you end up producing. My first year, I had only 2 clutches. They were NC corns, as well as Eastern Hogs. I will never forget the day the hogs started pipping. It was like Christmas in the summer!
