And I have a few pictures in their quarantine enclosure of them together when they first came in. I'll have to find that.

At first they would take nothing but anoles. Now their diet is mainly roaches and the other yummy inverts I tend to suggest to other monitor keepers.

Depends on the season. Sometimes I get free anoles, sometimes I pay up to $4.
Thanks, Chris!

would it be good for my sav to eat an anole?! :p

If it's captive bred or has been successfully treated for parasites, it's a leaner vertibrate alternative to mice.

Be funny watching the sav catch them as they can run up glass like geckos :D

Do you feel the same about feeding roaches or mice alive?
Bradyloach
03-30-12, 05:00 PM
i dont have the balls to feed a live mouse! roaches i dont really care about! i hate insects. worms are a little sad... but i know my sav needs them :) i was scared of snakes and lizards untill i decided to make a impulsive buy and got a savannah monitor which i knew nothing about :P
