How Mch Flexwatt Should I Use

:confused: I'm about to get my flexwatt for my young boas, but not sure of how much yet. I'm using sterilite 41qt totes which are 6" x 17 1/2" x 35 3/4". I'm trying to get by as cost effective (cheap-lol) as possible. The flezwatt is 11" and is 20 watts. Should I do 18" or would 12" be enough to put down on the shelves? Any input would be appreciative. Thanks

You want to cover 1/4 of the bottom of the cage so 12" would be prefect.

The two options for you with that size bin is 11" and 17". Remember this simple rule: you'll need to heat 1/4 - 1/3 of the floor space.
