Hello everyone!
I'm new to reptiles, but I'm already addicted! Well, I have had anoles before, but most people don't consider anole owners absolute experts lol.
I have had three anoles. All were rescues. My first one had a missing leg and I found her covered in blood. She wasn't that picky of an eater, except she made me hand feed her. Learned a lot about keeping feeder insects. My second anole was a baby anole who had become paralyzed from the waist down. He even needed help going to the bathroom, but actually became a pretty happy camper considering his condition.
The third I found freezing to death during a really horrible winter. There were so many dead animals that I had taken in a frog and a baby turtle as well as that lizard. I released them though during the spring and kept them pretty wild.
I am planning to get a corn snake soon and then go from there. I also am dying to get some tarantulas, but I can't figure out which one to get.
I really want to learn more about reptiles and other exotic species, so I can study them.
Can't wait to talk to you guys some more!
