View Full Version : Got my little one today :)
I just got back from the expo, I seen lots of really pretty milk snakes, and I had plans on getting an albino and a nelsons normal but something just attracted me to this little guy. So I decided to pick him up, and I'll be picking up my other two at the next expo in May.

Wow such an bright milk
Thanks :) He's so small, I always thought my rat snake was tiny and he's about 2 feet. My milk snake is probably less than a foot!

Just wait till this time next year it be a lot bigger lol and all ya need is an albino nelson mine isstill my fav snake I got
Thanks :) And yep I still really want an albino nelson, definitely my next snake!
And my little guy already escaped, haha. Luckily I found him in one of my drawers, I have no idea how he got out so I'll have to exam the whole tank. Pretty sure it's one of the holes where the wires come out of (exo terra tank).

Nice pick up. Looks like an Oreo Pueblan. They were some of my first milks way back when, haha!!! Is he hyper and does he musk when handled?
Here's a hypo Oreo Pueblan.

I looked it up and found one of the pictures looked exactly like him, his dad was also at the expo and it looked exactly like him. He hasn't musked, not that I remember of...I remember something 'liquided' on me but I think it was a tarantula, I really can't remember haha. But he's VERY hyper. I'm hoping he'll calm down as he gets older and settles down.
Edit: Also decided his name will be Dmitri, after Dmitri Mendeleev; creator of the periodics table of elements.

Awww, so cute! Baby milksnakes are absolutely adorable- best of luck with the new little one! :)
Nice pickup! Congrats! I have a apricot pueblan that's probably about 2 1/2 feet long and she still musks and trys to get away.

Dmitri is a great name :D
I'm hoping mine will at least not be so quick and slow down a little when he gets bigger. Then again, I don't mind it too much. It's easier handling a really fast snake when it's not a foot long. :P But he's already calmed down quite a bit so I'm not too worried.
And I might change his name, dmitri isn't sticking properly. I'll have to take him out tomorrow and find something suiting. :)
Got some more pictures! He's insanely quick, it's hard to get a picture at all. At some point it felt like I was holding a huge worm for how squirmy he got.

Beautiful snake! Congratulations! Your snake is about the size of my Ci-Ci when I got her 8 months ago.

Nice Pueblan! Good luck with it. Make sure you seal off all of the smallest escape routes. You'd be surprised what Kings and milks can get out thru! Your lucky to have found him! Good luck, again!
