I just fed Casper in a large plastic container that fits in his cage and he snarfed down 2 pinkies as quick as a wink, with me watching. So no shy eaters here! ^_^ it's dorky, but I am so proud of him right now, hehehe...

the pinkies left nice healthy looking lumps, but he was acting as though he could have eaten another one. Should I try offering him a 3rd next time or should I keep it at the 2... He's definitely not ready for fuzzies yet...

I got a few pics that I hope I can post soon... :)

yay! what makes you think he can't take a fuzzy? if he can eat 2 pinkies that's a good indication that he's ready for fuzzies.

Corns can take prey twice their girth, if it is taking two pinkies easily then one fuzzy should be fine imo

Ah... I thought it was only 1.5x girth... In that case I'll be picking up a fuzzy or 2 to offer him next feeding... :) Thanks for the info! :D

I even got a short video of him inhaling the 2nd pinkie...

The store had him on 2 pinkies every 4 days... Is that right? >_>

1 fuzzy every 6 or so days should be fine

oh, he can REALLY take a fuzzy, no problem
Edit: I don't even think 2 pinkies is enough. Definitely move him up to a fuzzy! :)

Ah... So thats one vote for Anery... :) I've been trying to figure out what he is because he doesn't look quite right for a ghost morph...

Saright... So I fed HER (got her sexed and "he" is a "she") a fuzzy for the first time today... MUCH bigger response! She even did a full strike and coil before nomming down what seemed to be an impossibly huge fuzzy. She seemed satisfied after eating this time unlike the first feeding where she still seemed hungry.

Thanks for the advice on the larger prey! :D

Yeah Corns are awesome eaters. Youd be surprised at what they can eat.

LOL! I'd love to, but I only have room for one right now... >_< but believe me, once we move to a bigger place, I am definitely getting some more corns... I kinda want a blizzard/whiteout... :D

Ooo... Do you have pics of her posted?

The place I took Banshee (formerly Casper) to be sexed said that they thought she may be a ghost morph.... So we will see what happens as she matures.. ^_^

I agree, My little Khuno is a whiteout Blizzard, he's still so young there is still some faint pink left, but he whiten's up with each shed!!

Where did you get him? I've been looking at SMR(any feedback or opinions on them?) but it's something that will have to wait till I'm in a place with more space... *pout* Ah well... It just gives me more time to save up so I can get exactly the one I want. ^_^
