Ever get the feeling Leos were intended for tree climbing more than we give them credit for?

Hello,
I think my 2 leos are the exact opposite of each other! My female is always hiding and almost never comes out but my male is always outside of his hides and walkin around. I have had my female for about 4 months and my male about 1 month. Any suggestions to get my female out of that hide? :D When ill go buy some crikets ill get something so they can climb. Should i get what you have Alicewave or should i get the vine that you can fold in any way you want?
thx!!

I dunno, of all my geckos, the males are the only ones that ever climb. They aren't really supposed to do it. The plants are there just for decoration. In fact I lowered them a bit so Seneca doesn't get hurt. There is nothing wrong with hiding all the time, especially this time of year. Just make sure your temps are right and I wouldn't worry about it.

Maybe they're trying to look for new stompin' grounds
Males of most species in the world tend to move around alot more than females in search of new territories, females...etc.
I know that females make me climb walls sometimes...LOL

Hahaha for sure! All of ours are like that - too funny watching them :p LOL... except the males seem to enjoy climbing into their hammocks to use as a toilet

I have a couple of spidie geckos too.....when the food don't come to them, they go to the food. Kinda funny to watch them scale the walls.http://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/data/500/66spider_gecko.jpg
