Seen a few people do this so I had to jump on the bandwagon.

Thanks. He is a ridiculously cool snake to own. He loves to be handled. If I open his viv he comes right to me.

How does your acoustic sound? It took me years to find an acoustic bass I liked.
Snakes and basses just go together. :)
Re: acoustic basses....I've never found one that didn't need plugged in to pay with acoustic guitars so I play fretless when the guitars are unplugged and try to sound like an URB.

Sound is very nice but way to quiet. It's awsome for picking it up and your playing. Thats it. Plugged in it has great tone but add some volume and it feads back. So its stricktly for practice and quick radio jam alongs. I also have a Yamaha PB copy that isn't bad. I 'm not much of a player but I can usualy get by.
I have considered buying a double bass for campfire. I would be willing to learn frettless and think it would be loud enough to even keep up with 2 or 3 guitars. Need to find a beat up cheap one though. I'm not worth anything better :)

I really like mine. It sounds great whether or not it's plugged in, and when you play it loudly it doesn't ring.
