I was just wondering if it is important to brumate my dragon even if i dont want to breed.

Probably not. There are some folks that think brumating dragons may allow them to live longer as it gives them a period where they can regenerate tissues much as we mammals do while sleeping. It's never been conclusively proven though.

There are many beardies who mate even though they've never brumated, too. Don't use awake all year as a form of birth control should you ever get a mate for your dragon or you'll be surprised one day. ;)
