Today I was finally able to get pics of my smaller (3 1/2 - 4') female so I thought it would be a good time to post an update as I know many of you have been looking forward to. I'm also going to post a few cell phone (I know sorry for the quality) pics of the male. He is still the most shy and I have not been able to get any high quality pics of him yet. The humidity is 100% (or more?!) so the lense is a bit cloudy, please excuse that. Both of these girls are chow hounds taking medium rats. When they are out I can get them to feed off tongs otherwise I put about 9 F/T medium rats in a food bin which lasts about 2-3days. I keep them well fed and hot! Ambient temp is approx 90-92 degree's once the enclosure heats up for the day, basking temps are around 120-125. I still have yet to get a water temp from the pond but it's on the list of things to do. Speaking of water I would highly reccomend a large bowl or pond for all waters. These guys love water and I find all of them swimming around or hanging out at the bottom like a gator. All of the animals have been getting along great and there have been no signs of fighting! They use every inch of their enclosure! One day I will be able to provide a walk in massive outdoor enclosure they will live the rest of their lives in! Well that's enough from me, please enjoy!

I had to remove the male from behind the pond so I could block it off. I should of had the wife grab my good camera but these cell phone shots will have to do. He wouldn't let go of my Fire glove for awhile! They are big on me so he missed my fingers.

Well said. These are not common in US collections. Very rare as true c.b.b. animals such as these.

Plan on a back piece when I'm successful with the cumingi. I'm need to finish up the Rio Fuerte Beaded lizard and add the yellow coloration!

here are a few more high quality pics I was able to take of the smaller female today:

Those are incredibly marked animals. Does that female have some old scar tissue, or is she just white in a few areas?

JPLReptiles

She's in the mist of shedding, the white is merely the flash washing out the yellow.

BarelyBreathing

Yeah, I could tell she was shedding. Even in shed, she looks wonderful. You're a lucky man.
