So just for fun I thought it would be fun to put a piece of plywood leading cassie out of her enclosure. Wanted to see if she would come out, I'm making such good progress with her, I Pet her for 15 mins without her. Losing her eyes, she flicked her tounge lots tho! Here she is!

Good stuff - you've certainly got the right idea of getting the monitor used to you!
Once they're at that stage, you can slowly start using your other hand rather than the plywood. Start by putting one hand on the plywood, palm up, fingers together (you can even wear a glove for the first while) and use the forceps in the other hand to encourage the monitor to step onto your hand. It's important for the first several times you do this that your hand (the one not holding the forceps) does not move.
I've done this with lace monitors to get them gradually used to the idea of hands and arms. They quickly learn what is hand and what is food - but when they're bigger I then retrain them to disassociate hands from food entirely so they don't go into feeding mode the instant they are on your arm!

Excellent - you're well under way! Reaching that stage with lace monitors can take forever. With some individuals that sort of thing doesn't happen until they are 2 years old. With my adult female, I couldn't get her to voluntarily walk onto my hand until she was 4 years old.
