It is really interesting looking, and that glove looks awfully thick, lol. The pattern on her head looks like an ink blot...not that I've been asked to look at a bunch of those or anything <looks around nervously> :)

I love the head marking too!
And that glove cracked me up. The DO bite, but it is like, hardly noticeable (except for the blood of course) *lmao*

Won't be long until he's calm. He sure is sweet looking though!! Very unique carpet, his tipping is like camo!

Be sure if your usin gloves to rub your hands all over the outside of them to scent them before handling so it's not a new smell when you try handling without them. Glad he is calming. Nice looking little guy there!!

Mine has been calming down real quick. The key is to handle frequently and on the snakes terms.
You have a very good looking carpet there.

I only use the gloves to get it out of its cage
If you used a hook to lift one part of his body and picked him up from underneath, he should come out of the cage fine with out gloves. Something about being underneath them gives them huge security. Just a thought.

lots of carpets love chicks, you should still give rats a good try. (wait till you smell his poop nowhttp://ball-pythons.net/forums/images/smilies/extended/icon_rofl.gif)
