I fed Khuno on Feb 28, 7 days ago. Now this last feeding was his first 4 gram fuzzy, rather than a 3 gram pinkie. But his lump is still just as visible today as it was the day I fed him (or very close anyways)

his hot end temps read 86f, cold end reads at 72f, he seems otherwise active and healthy, no mites. He is acting completely normal.

but in 7 days, shouldn't the lump be gone?? I went to feed him and it looks like I just did!!:sorry:

Maybe it was a little to big his body not use to the new big food and may take a little longer to diget

OK, so it's not as bad as i first thought. The lump is definately smaller, I think I saw a lump after 7 days and my mind went #$#@@@!! But there is still a very noticable lump after 7 days, so the question is still the same. And should I leave him till day 10 or so before feeding him again??

he's 19" and 13.5 grams at last weight, (recent)

Wow after 7 days and still that big I say just give it some more time before you feed again maybe it was just to big and taken a lot longet to digest could always try and bump the heat up a few degress on the hot side to

maybe you should wait until he defecates?

might have just been a bit too much food, wait for incoming poop soon before getting worried too much about it.

Yeah I agree with all that. Wait a week or at least until he defacates. You should be ok.

awesome thanks!! It was just weird because if anything he digests fast!!

i didn't think 1 gram could make that much of a difference, but he's my first baby so I thought I'd ask

As soon as they are eating prey with hair it does take longer for them to digest and means bigger poops also but 7 days is still a long time!

I know!!! So weird, maybe with this size prey he'll be an every 10 day sort of guy!! He's healthy, so I'm not worried on that front!

Yeah, sounds like he just needs a few more days. Who knows. If he's acting fine, just wait it out :)
