Ahh yeah. Very pretty little snake. One of the many nice thing about Dums is that there is hardly ever a shed problem. They always shed so nicely.

When he looks like he's going to shed I bump up the humidity some and sheds perfect every time

You know what? None of my Dums ever have a shed problem. Theyre not prone to dehydration like Brazilians are. After all, they do come from some of the dryer areas of Madagascar.
One of the ways I control the level of humidity in their tubs is where I put the water dish. With Brazilians, I put it directly over the heat cable, but with Dums I dont have to do that. Their water dish is closer to the front of their tubs and they never have a problem, like I said. :)

Keep in mind if you plan on breeding them sometime, the gestation is VERY long. Depending on who you talk to, its anywhere from 6-9 months. Just be patient and itll eventually happen.

Yes they are. Thing is that they can hold the sperm a very long time after lock up so you just never know when the gestation starts. As far as Dums are concerned, the female is in total control of when it all happens.

The Dr. is looking sweet. In the second and forth pictures he almost looks like a tattoo on your arm.
