High contrast, solid background, for making a banner.
Your photo will be credited to you, I need an image for the left side.
Thanks crocdoc for the lace monitor image!

Maybe you can edit the background out of one of these and turn it to face the other way?

In that banner you posted Wayne, its really hard to read the writing in that font on the bottom 3 lines... at least for me :hmm:

I don't like the fonts either, I was smart and saved the PNG file with the text still in edit form.
It was extremely late and I wanted to go to bed. I could play with font styles and colours for an hour before something really makes me happy..

rough draft of banner, still toying with the text..
Thank you everyone involved, You guys had to guess by now that I would use a Savannah as the needed image, and the contrast of the albino just stands out on a black background.

At the risk of sounding partial, THAT BANNER LOOKS COOL AS HELL!!! The contrast between the two monitors in the banner is pretty sweet.

Is that Bell's phase the one Trent had at his place for a while?

They were taken at the Ballarat wildlife park Doc... don't know who Trent is?

Ah, okay. My mistake. Trent is a monitor keeper/breeder in Melbourne. I knew that he had given his male Bell's back (he had it on breeding loan) but I don't know to whom and it looked a bit like that animal.
Trent and I swapped hatchlings from our respective monitors' bloodlines last year, so the juvenile I have here called Bandit is the offspring of the male I mentioned. It's a 'dirty' Bell's phase (black speckling in the yellow bands) but the yellows from this bloodline are brilliant - a lot like my adult male Alex. I figured they'd be good bloodlines to mix, if Bandit is a female.
