Jade: Update and Photos!

Ok so here are some pictures I took of Jade this morning. She is a Sorong x Jade Line female that was hatched in late May. She eats like a horse (still a hopper every 7+ days) and from these pictures it looks like she may shed soon. She is roughly 3ft long. Quite the difference from the little noodle I brought home in June 2011

She has random all white scales I noticed them when I pulled her out, they are smooth and feel just like her other scales, I think its just a part of her pattern but if anyone has any ideas please throw them out there.

the white scales are just her pattern, she might have a little Aru in her too.

I know, I took some of everyone some were more willing than others. She is getting big I cant believe she's almost a year old

very good looking! Almost looks like a T+ albino with the yellow and purple.

She isn't an albino though that would be super cool her parents both have very blue markings so it's her brown markings turning blue they just happen to be purple she's coming up on a shed so we'll see if there's any progress

No she really is awesome. Great feed response and growing like a weed. No shed progress yet she's dulling out so I would probably guess within a week or 2

How long have you had this one?

I got her June 25th 2011 I got her as unsexed but was fortunate enough to have a breeder approach me asking for more information because he recognized her head markings. When I gave him the hatch information he confirmed that he produced her and I guess she was sexed in his records since that's how I came to find out that she was a she. I was also given pictures of her parents and was very impressed.

Ooooh! I love having pics of the sire and dame! I only have those for 2 of my snakes and that sucks. Count yourself lucky that you got those and take measures to ensure you always have them - email them to yourself and archive that message or something. They're not items you ever want to lose!

Yea I did that! The great thing is he only had the dame so he gave me not only the picture of the sire he told me who produced him and gave me the website of the breeder. I was really pleased not only with the way the breeder approached me, the quality of both parents is incredible and it was confirmation that she is definitely CBB
