View Full Version : My T's
I'm not sure if I've posted my T's before so here they are. I'll be picking up about 5-6 more by the end of this month. I need a little variety. :D
Here's Attila, my immature male (guessing) P.Murinus. He's very tiny, about 2-3 inches.

Now Ross, my tiny A.Avic immature male (guessing).

Now here's my newest addition, a female G.Rosea. She's about 5-6 inches. These were taken during a rehousing.

And last, my other newest addition, my female A.Avic. She's a female, but very tiny. We went to pick her up just this Friday, her owners were giving her water by a sponge, feeding her a cricket every few months, and had her in a tanks so large that she was very stressed and wasn't properly webbing. Plus they never cleaned her tank in the years they've had her! She's very thin, also has some stuck exo on her. I've raised the humidity and she's been eating her crickets like a champ so I'm hoping she'll be better in no time and have a great molt.

Also thought I'd add in a few of my asian forest scorp. Here's when I first brought him home about three months back. Tiny baby!

I love the first one. That's a starburst, correct?
Thanks. Yes the first one is a starburst, or also "orange baboon" or as Trent said, orange bitey thing. :P
And ladybug, they get addicting. Be ready to have more in no time, haha.

haha the one we have is cool, s/he never hides, we have 2 hides and enough substrate that it can burrow and it just sits on top of its hide chillin lol I'm afraid of spiders I dont mind having one but I like when it stays in its enclosure, ha

Haha, that's what my dad thinks about mine. As long as my animals stay in their enclosures, he's fine with having them. :0

Wow, lucky. :) I'm hoping I'll be able to have that many one day. By the end of this month I should be up to 11. I'm excited!

They are a really cool species. Mine hides a lot, but he makes really lovely webs. I moved him into a new tank this weekend and lucky for me, he webbed against the side of his tank so I can still see him.

I might get a Tarantula to overcome my fear.

Lucky you! I'm used to empy cage syndrome. I think it makes it more special when they finally show themselves.

oh my gosh, ross is sooo cute!! a.avic...what's the general term for that one?

You should, they actually make good pets if I say so myself. I would recommend starting with either a pink toe, a rose hair or something like a mexican red knee. My first was a mature male pink toe and he was so docile that he made me want my second.

I'm actually surrpised he made his web there. I put in a new hide today and I'm expecting him to make a new web any second. He's starting to dislike having everyone be able to see him through, lmao.

They rarely do their 'business' really, I usually will clean out any uneaten crickets, if any, about every month or so. And I will put in some more substrate if needed. I usually re-arrange their tanks before they have the chance to get dirty though. :p

Thanks :) He's a "pink toe".

ah ok. We feed ours with forceps so no loose buggies s/he eats 2 a week
I do too, but there's always that one cricket that gets it's way out of the tongs and finds somewhere in the tank to hide. Or the random T who will leave a cricket head on the ground. :P
