Imported these not too long ago.
"leucistic" Kings monitors. Although on closer inspection they are clearly not leucistic. Looks like a type of albino. Maybe T+ or something else but definately not leucistic.
The male is "100% het" and the female is the visual form. The female seems to be going through vitellogenesis so we may be seeing eggs in the next few weeks. For those who do not know, Varanus kingorum are the second smallest varanid. Full adult size is about a foot long. Very easy to manage and they are fun to watch! Not shy at all.
On a side note, the gentics have not been fully worked out as of yet. From what I have been told, it does not act completely recessive.
