Ok so my breeder knows a buddy who knows of someone who has a few green bottle blues T's but they won't be here till wed or Thursday and getting one ok so here are my questions should I get male or female? What type of cage should I get? What substrate should I use? What's the best food for them? Do I need a heater for them etc under tank heater,or a basking light and do they need a water dish? And any other genral stuff I look for care sheets but each one says something different

Females live longer, get a female.
My sling is in a 5 gallon Critter Keeper. Ten gallons will be an alright size for an adult. I have mine on Eco Earth. My younger tarantulas eat crickets, my older ones eat dubia roaches. I don't have heat on mine, but they are in a climate controlled room. If your room is too cold, a small under tank heater will be enough. I don't have a light on mine, but I do have a small water dish.

Ok how often do they eat? And how moist should I keep the eco-earth? And they will be in my reptile room and its climate control and I belive these are not young ones but I'm not to for sure

Keeping T's are SO easy. You can mist the cage if you would like but the water bowl will be fine. Now I could go on and on but the website 'arachnoboards' (another forum I am part of) will solve all your problems give it a look and use the search bar in the corner.

Ok the guy wants like 120 bucks for a green bottle blue isn't that a little a to much lot of money for a spider

Looked into other ones for sale, that looks like about right if not a few bucks cheaper than what those kind go for. Keep in mind its like geckos and snakes, morphs (or rare colors/etc) are more money!
That said, i found one or two that had smaller (younger?) ones for sale for like $35 - $45, the more expensive ones are adults, ones with more blue, etc.

I can understand snakes and gekos but spiders I see some onlike for 60 bucks but after shipping its going to be like 100 bucks I rather get me another snake guess I got to wait till there a little cheaper

It depends if it's a male or a female, and what size and age it is. Females are much more expensive, and slings are pretty cheap because there is really little guarantee that they will live.

These are a maybe 7 months old so and there all females I did read that slings do got a low rate of survival

That's a fair price.

its just preference. I'd never spend over $50 on a gecko, I don't care that much, they're not my "thing" and for others I'm sure they'd much rather spend $100+ on a gecko than a snake!

Yea same here I'm a snake guy I just wanted a pet spider lol
You can get a "normal" one for a lot cheaper or a less rare one for $30-40
i dont know about any pet stores near you, the one up here has 4-5 tarantulas at any given time from $20-100 depending on the color/type

So far, I don't believe there are any green bottle blue morphs, the posted price for a normal confirmed female is about $150, unsexed babies are between $45 and $60.

Is it easy to sex a green bottle blue?

When they get older, it's pretty much the same as sexing any tarantula.

Oh well I guess my pet spider going to get hold off for awhile till I can find a cheaper one wish a reptile show would come to arizona next one is like in october
or move to texas (joke!) my only experience w/ a pet tarantula is a friend found one that was a pet and was released/escaped. she caught it w/ snake gloves and it turned out to be a xenthis blue or something, i just remember it was super expensive morph
