Ok so out of all my years of snake keeping I had no problems when my snake sheds until now and it would be my coral snake lol my coral snake is has some left over shed in the middle of his body I already did my best to soak him in tepid water and now he's piss striking at everything he's normaly a calm and great snake so any ideas to get the shed off without touching him I try using long tweaser but that didn't work I done my best in the soaking part would it hurt if I just left it alone for a few days and see if it comes off by itself any ideas would be helpful

Put him in a damp pillow case with a damp wash cloth inside. He'll rub on the wash cloth and the damp pillow case will help him get it off himself.

I'm not sure I'd bother. If it's not over his eyes, tail or anywhere it wraps all the way around I'd let it ride til the next shed. Especially with a hot. But that's just me.

Yea its in the middle of his body and its not a big piece either but what alessia said to do I'm trying can't hurt but if that doesn't work ill leave it alone but ever since I put him in the tepid water he's been very piss lol guess he didn't like it but he's in the pillow case now I found a pretty rough wash cloth so hope it works

I would probably let give him a day before cleaning his cage unless it's really bad... You don't want to tempt fate by handling him multiple times in one day, especially when he is in a striking mood.

yea but I'm off all day today I'm working rest of the week I clean all my snakes cages bout a month or so I try to clean all there cages every month but its pretty clean and yea I tempted fate a lot today and he's still hasn't coal down a snake already put me in the ER when I was young I could only imagine what a coral snake would do sidewinder be nothing compared to it

Out of curiousity, I looked up how bad coral snake bites were, and learned that apparently there is no more antivenin being produced for a coral snake bite in the US.
A coral bite is so rare, and because they weren't making a profit, they stopped producing it in 2003, and as of Oct 31, 2010 there is no "commercially available antivenom" left

Reason coral snakes bites are rare is cause there gentle and calm I just piss mine off a year or so ago I check with a doctor office close to me they have some in storage and yea I kinda figure that there be hardly no anti venom for coral snake so let's hope I don't ever get bit

It work pretty fast to and my coral has calm down quite a bit I don't know why he didn't like his little bath in the tepid water
