Same story guys. Herps are not specifically singled out, but the wording is ambiguous enough that they are effectively banned should this pass. The law can be read here:

Oi. Good news is there are only 49 states this kind of junk can be proposed in. (HI already bans most herps).

I completely agree with Hawaii banning them. Hawaii is an island paradise and since many species would thrive in that environment I can't blame them for not even wanting to take the chance that something would escape or some idiot would set them free. Florida I feel is sort of the same way, even if it is only the extreme southern end that is in any real danger.
