I was just wondering if Aspen Bedding was okay for my Crested Gecko because I hate the exo-terra dirt I am using right now. If not Aspen is there anything else that will keep an okay humidity for a Crested Gecko other than the Planting soil! Also would coco fiber be good. Just wondering what substraits, so whatever you use just tell me!

I don't know much about CGs but aspen is dusty so that might irritate the lizard.
I would avoid it.
Why do you hate the exo terra stuff?

Aspen will mold with the amount of humidty that a crested gecko needs. I use either Eco Earth or Repti-Bark. You can also use paper towels.

I use the Exo-terra Planting soil and it seems like it molds alot and holds in a little too much humidity. So do you think that repti bark would be okay because there isn't as much of risk for impation because I feed him all his insects out of his cage.

Take it out, put hydroballs on the bottom of the enclosure, put screen over the hydroballs, put substrate in. I've never had a problem with substrate molding.

Okay thanks but can I still use Repti bark. I like how it looks alot more than the Plantation Soil.
