Goats!!!!!!!

I know there has been talk of goats a few times on this forum and I just came across an old card with some pics of mine on it. This is what happens when you don't fence in your goats, let them grow up thinking they are dogs, and basically let them do whatever they like.

Oh they did indeed ruin cars. Al the ones they were playing on were our backyard rally cars though. We did much more damage to them than any goat could ever do :)

These goats were our pets. we had to get rid of them though, they caused way to much damage. Now they live on a goat farm with 40 or so other goats.

their names are Dodge and Ram, and they answer when you call them :)

No. I bought them to eat. Goat is eaten all over the world and I really enjoy it. If I had property I would raise goats, pigs, chickens, sheep and cows for my own consumption. I enjoyed butchering my own meat and wanted to be a butcher when I was younger.

Goat is very tasty but needs to be cooked right or is really tough, goat curry that has been simmered for about 5 hours is gorgeous!!

Honestly since owning them I cannot eat anything goat. Not because it would be like eating my pet, more because of the taste. I find goat cheese and milk have that underlying taste that is the same as how they smell.
Grosses me right out!

One of the winters that we had them we kept some of the wood for the wood stove in the same enclosure as them (covered)
I remember I had gone to be early and my bf had brought a bunch of wood in the house for the next day.
That night I had the strangest dreams about goats all night long.
When I woke up in the morning the whole house smelled of GOAT from the wood.
I left for work early so I had to leave a note for my guy to take all the wood out of the goat pen because it was stinking up the house and getting into my dreams.
I HATE THE SMELL OF GOATS!!!!!! lol

No I don't have a problem with eating my pets, if i owned chickens or other animals I would eat them. Many people wouldn't eat their pets, that's why I said

Doesn't bother me. Many people raise animals to eat them. When I was younger my uncle would let us all choose a cow that we could name and feed and call our own. By the end of it, they all became hamburgers at family reunions...
I named mine big mac (this was before I knew we were going to eat him).

i saw them film it on MYTHBUSTERS randy

they tried lots of different ways to get them to faint,it wasn't that easy but once they sussed a way to do it,they fainted everytime.the whole herd collapsing at near enough the same time.it was pretty funny to watch:D
