So I'm sitting here bored out of my mind and looking through my photobucket, and I found some work photos uploaded there. I thought I would share two from a photo shoot, along with a story.

We were booked five days through to do a multi-media session with a solo artist. He had four days in the recording studio working on his full length album. The next day he had a photo shoot. The entire time he spent with us, we never saw his face. Other than him singing in the studio, we never heard him speak. He communicated with an iPad. Very interesting and cool guy. He has great music, so be on the lookout for him soon!

Anyway, these are two of the finished photos of Esgal G. Lethifold.

This first one is the one that he is using for promotional purposes.

This second one, even though it's pretty similar, is actually a slightly different angle. This one is going to be the cover art of his album.

He seems creepy.

Strange BB Could he already be a big established recording artist trying some new stuff and wanting it to stand or fall on its own merits rather than be gobbled up because he's already a "name" ?

It's his "thing". He does ambient/soundscapes. He has a really amazing sound, and he was really cool to "talk" to. He loved the reptiles at the studio, too!

This one reminds me of an argon laser show...

totally Nosferatu. I liked the first pic/angle better.

Love the fancy color ones!

So you own a recording studio?! That's awesome!

The recording studio is hubby's doing, but yes, it's located at the same facility with the same name.

Wait, same facility and same name as what?

BarelyBreathingStudios. I started it as a photography studio, then it slowly transformed into more.

Oh I see, took me a second there. That's awesome! You shoot on a 5D, or what's your primary?

Gah! My browser shut down while I was typing.

I shoot Nikon, but the camera I use is dependant of what I'm doing. I use everything from a D3X to a D60.

Very cool, my fiancee is a photographer/cinematographer so I know what I can absorb through her. Im in the music biz myself, though from the other side of things - live performance spaces. Opening a new one now actually, with a big back yard for bands, though its also focused on craft beer...

That's really exciting.

Hubby wants to open a performance space and a practice studio, but I'm not sure it's in the budget right now. Too bad we don't live closer.

We did a photoshoot of a musician, and half of it included my Chaco gold knee. Here's the first edit of that shoot envolving the spider.
