Can a snake ever be too warm? Within reason of course! Not like putting my ball python in the oven! Haha
But can it be unhealthy to be too warm for periods of time?

If your snake is exposed to high levels of heat it can suffer burns. It depends on how hot it is and for how long it is exposed to that heat. In the extreme case, you could literally cook/kill the snake if it's exposed to high heat for too long.

Absolutely! It can kill them. I had a roommate foolishly loose a snake to the heat of the sun hitting it's tank during the day. I warned her it would over-heat and possibly kill the thing, but she didn't believe me and now she's 1 snake less.

if your thermostat was to overheat your snake tank, and your snake over heated,then.....
your snake would start to show neurological issues and if the temperature was not rectified in time,it could cause permenant neuro issues or even death
its much easier to kill a snake with heat, than it is to kill it with cold

that depends on your definition of cold.

Shauna completed my thought! Haha
I wasn't talking about cooking my snake! I was thinking more about the heat versus the cold.
