MBK update

I just now realized that I never posted the latest update. The owner of the pet store talked to the breeder and the breeder let the pet store have one of their yearling hold back for the cost of shipping ($45). I was going to get one at the repticon this march, but you can't find yearlings that cheap, so I elected to go with the this one. I picked him up on either Saturday or Sunday. I decided to name him Ebony in honor of.... well.... Ebony. I will post pics today or tomorrow.

Me too! I know I said I was going to post pics Friday or yesterday, but we celebrated my B-Day yesterday cause I was sick during it on 1/20. Tomorrow is feeding day so I will snap some pics then.

Thanks! They are wonderful snakes. They have the best temperament and looks as far as kings go IMO. Why can't you get one?

I am still in the process of trying to let my parents let me get a snake and it looks like I am failing because they are not bugging. Also if I do get a snake it would have to be a Garter Snake because everything is "too big" for my parents! It is very frustraiting since I am wanting one so bad and they just totally ignore it.

Yea, it took me a year to get my parents to let me get a corn snake and now look at me. 29 snakes!!! Just keep working on them.

29?! my parents never let me get any snakes, I finally moved into an apartment with a nice landlord, I'm so happy to have just one :D

I've only been keeping again since last June/July and my collection is at 10 already. I've been doing good about trying to not buy anymore. It's been almost a month since I bought an animal lol

oddly enough, I dont like chips, I have ONE piercing I got 3 years ago, and I'm still saving for tattoos.. Other hobbies on the other hand? dont get me started!

I already have money down to be shipped my 2nd snake once it warms up.. go figure!

Yeah it happens to all of us. We started out with one plus our roommate bought one at the same time almost 2 years ago. Now we have 15, 5 of which came from him but now our collection is complete... "no more snakes" yeah, yeah ;).

I used to have a Mexican Black, Named him dervish, my grandpa loves him, we made a Super nice Outdoor hide for him, and in the winters my gramps brings him inside into a 100 gallon tank its kinda neat, its a big crater in the ground filled with sphagnum moss, covered by a sheet of that corrugated tin, so it stays nice and humid and toasty, hes always there in the summer to its cool its like hes still a pet, although considering the ample food supply (copperhead, cottonmouth, rattlesnake, and rodents galore) i suspect he wont be going anywhere for a loooongg time
