Yes she has missed meals for the last almost 5 weeks and I'd be lying if I said it hadn't stressed me out...I fed all the snakes last night...but, my supplier was out of medium rats that were alive so I figured I'd try a f/t medium rat. We've stayed away from the large the last few feedings cuz she'd been sick...long story short...I tried the med. rat...heated it up with hot water...didn't work, I could tell she wanted to but she seemed more in tune to go for my arm so needless to say I stopped trying...yes I was using tongs before you ask...anyways went back to supplier tonight got what I call medium and they call large...lol funny how that works huh? Well my son decided to be a photographer and took some pictures and he asked me to share...lol they are a little ummm...grotesque, well if you have a weak stomach don't look...lol he said they were the best shots...go figure the mind of a 13 year old aspie...lol
He has asperger's syndrome *high functioning autism*

she could've gone off feed because she was sick. Its a theory I've heard before.

I fixed it.:D
And I'm glad the fast is over.
Good news! It's always a relief when they start eating again.

my mind stores a ton of useful info, asking a question is like squeezing the sponge. Whether you want it or not, you'll get it.

Oh yeah I sold the SD Retic to a collector here in Indy, well I'm one of those freak of nature people that can pick up just about any snake and not get bit, once when I was young picked up a cottonmouth without knowing what it was lol and I like dogs and hate cats, can go in someone's house that has cat's and be an instant cat magnet...anyways I was told this SD was majorly aggressive so I had it out while the guy was here so he could look at him...I had the awesome vibe from the guy you know when you let an animal go to someone you know is going to be an awesome owner...get a text from him this morning and he's sent me a picture of him holding the SD it was so awesome man...I think they make a good match...I was kinda sad to see him go he was gorgeous. And everyone at my house was afraid of him so I guess it was for the best, is your SD aggressive? Where did you get it?

I got my girl from a buddy who got him from Travis Kubes, a big retic breeder not too far from me. She's never bit me but she was worked with a lot by my buddy. I was at Travis's place and got tagged by several young 'tics, both mainland and sd's. They seem to be more nervous as babies but also get used to handling quicker and build confidence nearly as quickly as they grow.
