Ok my friends does anyone have a video of feeding from start to finish from getting out the BP to putting in another viv to feed to moving him back or can i get good detail from someone its gonna be the first time i do it on my Albino hes pretty tame and a year old but hasnt been handled in week and i wanna now what to expect. Hopefully you all arent tired of my questions yet.

In these two videos you can see how I do it. In the first video, I show you how I prepare the rat, take Pika out, put him in a separate container, and offer the f/t rat. In the second video, I show you how Pika eats and what is normal behavior of a ball python eating.

why not just feed it in its tank

saves you the hassle of moving it and.....

thats where the snake feels most secure,also saves you handling it after its ate

not trying to be cheeky,just curious as to why your feeding out the tank ?

we all asked plenty questions when we first started keeping reptiles and continue to do so

Until he has it pretty much all the way down his neck and into his belly area. This might be a few minutes after he's done taking down the tip of the tail of the rat. After that, if the container is small enough, you can lift the container with your snake still in it, and place it inside his enclosure. You can let him slither out himself. If the container is too big to fit inside the enclosure, you can lift him VERY GENTLY and supporting his whole body and place him inside his enclosure very slowly. You don't want to disrupt his full belly and the digesting process.

All my snakes eat in their enclosures and I've never had a problem.

If Pika likes it and eats religiously then great. I feed in vivs some do not. Great video just the same " nom nom dance". Now that was funny!!

Here is what I do
Grab snake by the head.
Swing it above my head 3-4 times til dizzy
Place into container
Drop a baby monkey in while snake is still dizzy
Wait til the monkey's but and feet disappeare
Put lid on
Open up ten minuets later
Allow snake to hold my hand with mouth
Put arm in the cage til he let goes and slithers off

Feed in a seperate container if you don't believe all of us who are saying otherwise. I was stubborn too when I had my first ball python and always fed in a seperate container (link below), but now I feed all of my snakes in their enclosures and no, I do not get bit every time I reach in their tubs/tank. Do what you feel is right, but in the end, you're gonna be agreeing with us :)

(As you can see, she ate like a champ even when I brought her into a seperate container, but I can guarantee you that if I put my other three hatchlings in seperate containers, probably two of the three wouldnt eat, because I know they are already picky)

Also, Disclaimer! Dont ever feed with paper towel underneath the prey (I was stupid back then), because if your snakes teeth get caught onto it, they end up swallowing the whole piece of paper towel and it is fatal.

Only if you feed them live. You can sit on them, its not the most humane way to kill them. Personally, I prefer to read them 'The English Patient' and bore them to death. It does take longer though and could be considered torture.
