You know she's going to you when I have that major stroke that I've been planning and have to drink from a SippyCup once it happens, but I've had to reschedule that whole affair because this spring looks a little busy for me and I haven't had time to make a harness for Roxy to drag me around with, or find a set of SippyCups I like. Let's not rush me into the old folks home just *yet*, Okay? Okay! Good talk :)

She is one of the cleanest Diamond Jungle Jags I've seen, but Caylan has a rival and it's got the most funky diagonal stripe on it's head that makes it very unique.

I'm never *really* satisfied that I capture her properly when it comes to her length. The only time I can really do that is if she's crawling across the floor, but the floors in my igloo are a tad too chilly to let her do that at the moment, so we won't see any truly representative size shots until summer rolls around in Canada, lol.

Her history is pretty sketchy, but if what I do know is accurate, she followed this path:
breeder -> wholesaler -> dude in pet shop -> shop closed, back to dude -> abandoned by dude twice in same friend's house -> friends care (2x) -> Me.

If I do the math, the timeline suggests to me that she's a 2008 model, but her Junior Miss years were sparse with food, and she wasn't a happy camper. It took about a full year to get her as trusting in people and bomb-proof as she is now.

i have a 2008 jun/jag that was a slow starter,she took 10 month for her feeding response to kick in.she is on the small side for a 2008 or i would have flung the jungle jag in with her as well this year.

she will be up to size next season i hope

That's a really interesting looking snake. I like it's colouration - never seen one quite like it over here.

Sol won't breed while she's under my care. It happened once; so fast that I wasn't able to open the tank and stop the male (Whiskers) before he descended upon her like a bat on a mosquito, and I won't let it happen again. She's a family member to me, nothing else. It's just a personal choice, so anyone out there hoping for a piece of Sol is S.O.L.

Not coincidence that she got that name :)

shes held that wierd copper colour since a hatchling mate and i've never seen another her colour

Eric Burke of the USA has one of similar colour but i've not seen any pictures of it

her dorsal stripe runs all the way to the tip of her tail,not 1 scale is a different colour to the rest.the stripe is a perfect width all the way

Thanks everyone! She's still growing like a weed, so I'm really happy about that. She's starting to get some heft to her and she's still really sharp. I can see my goal of a minimum of 9 feet in the not too distant future :P
