Rescue Garter must really like it here..

I am embarrassed to admit this, I fed Sunshine 2 pinkies last night and forgot to close his cage up!

I just now noticed that I left that cage wide open for over 12 hours, and that snake was a coiled up just looking out at the world.

He must have had it really bad outside, because he had all the opportunity in the world to leave, and just sat there waiting for me to close up his cage.

Either that or he was so well fed moving seemed like too much of a chore. :D Glad he didn't get out ... that would have been a bear finding him.

i like the chin too! i do remember the tail story. I don't remember seeing these pics or not though. ANyway, he's cute. Man i want some garters sooo bad! That slug eating video really got me all charged up again.

Well, for what it's worth, "Sunshine" is doing wonderfully, will pluck pinkies right from my fingers and does not mind any handling.

check out his tail.. poor guy. he's been basking all day. Capturing his true lemon yellow seems difficult with my camera/lighting.
